Named in honor of Morris Williams Jr., an exceptional golfer from Austin who tragically died in the Korean War, the course has deep historical roots.

Once serving as the home ground for the University of Texas (UT) golf team under coach George Hannon, it’s where legends like Tom Kite and Ben Crenshaw honed their skills to win two NCAA Championships.

The course offers various amenities including a driving range, putting green, merchandise shop, and golf cart rentals. Reservations for tee times can be made in person or by phone starting at 7 AM and online from 9 AM. The maintenance schedule ensures optimal conditions, with closures on every second Monday for upkeep. The Fairways Cantina onsite provides food and refreshments to nourish players before or after rounds.
