Roy Kizer Golf Course

Roy Kizer Golf Course, located in Southeast Austin, spans 200 acres and features a links-style design, incorporating 35 acres of lakes and 22 acres of wetlands. This diverse habitat supports migratory waterfowl, making it not only a challenging course for all skill levels but also a picturesque natural setting. Named after Roy Kizer, an esteemed golf course superintendent known for his contributions to junior golf in Austin, the course is recognized for its community prominence.

Golfers can make reservations either in person at the pro shop or by phone at (512) 974-4653 from 7 am, with online bookings available from 9 am. Tee times follow specific advance booking procedures tailored to weekdays and weekends. The maintenance schedule includes closures on the fourth Monday of each month and additional dates for tasks like aerifying and overseeding.

Amenities include practice facilities such as a driving range and putting greens. Additional services feature golf cart rentals, fees for the Joe Balander Learning Center, and access to the Stag & Finch Snackbar. Payment is predominantly via credit or debit cards with no cash transactions accepted.
