Black Butte Ranch in Central Oregon, near Bend, offers two distinguished championship golf courses: Glaze Meadow and Big Meadow. These courses are designed to deliver a top-tier golfing experience amid the stunning Cascade Mountains landscape.
The Glaze Meadow Golf Course underwent a significant renovation in 2012 by architect John Fought, modernizing its design while maintaining classic elements. At 7,007 yards from the back tees, it features elevated greens, square tee boxes, and deep grass-faced bunkers, nested among Aspen groves and Ponderosa pine trees. This course includes five sets of tees on every hole to accommodate golfers of all skill levels.
Big Meadow Golf Course is noted for its straightforward Robert Muir Graves design with expansive fairways and challenging bunkers over 7,000 yards. Recognized as one of the best courses in Oregon by GolfWeek Magazine in 2013, it offers spectacular views including Three Fingered Jack peak from the fourteenth hole.
Both courses emphasize strategic play integrated into a breathtaking mountain setting for an engaging golfing journey at Black Butte Ranch.
