Sunflower Hills Golf Course, established in May 1977, is an 18-hole championship course located in the Kansas City area. Designed by renowned architect Roger Packard, the course offers a challenging layout suitable for golfers of varying skill levels. It extends over 7,000 yards from the Championship tees and features five sets of tees to accommodate different playing preferences. The course includes large rolling greens, zoysia fairways, numerous bunkers, and strategically placed water hazards.
The facility boasts one of the largest putting greens in the Midwest, along with chipping and pitching greens and a practice bunker for comprehensive short game practice. Additionally, Sunflower Hills has a driving range equipped with thirty hitting stations and accurate distance markers.
To further support golf enthusiasts, three teaching professionals are available on staff to provide personalized instruction. The year-round operational course is conveniently situated near notable landmarks like the Kansas Speedway and Village West, offering easy access from downtown Kansas City.
