Opened in July 1970, the course features large greens and rolling terrain, with the state's longest par-5 at over 600 yards. The facility includes a pro shop, banquet space, snack bar, and a full practice area comprising two tees and three practice greens.
Golfers can book tee times via phone, in person, or online. Diverse rate options are available for juniors, seniors (57+), ladies, students from UK/Transylvania, military/veterans, disabled individuals, and LFUCG employees. Special seasonal rates are offered during winter months.
Beyond everyday play, Lakeside hosts corporate outings, charitable events, league play, family reunions, and other group events. Amenities for these events include banquet space with catering services and a clubhouse patio. The driving range operates daily from 8 a.m. to dusk.
