Briar Bay Golf Course, located just eight blocks west of US 1 and north of SW 136th Street, is a par-31 Executive Golf Course that spans thirty acres. Designed by Bruce Devlin and Robert Von Hagge in 1974, it opened for play in January 1975 and has been managed by the Parks Department since 1979. The course is designed to provide an enjoyable golfing experience for players of all skill levels. It features a layout that winds west, north, east, west, south and finally back east towards the clubhouse.
Annually hosting over forty thousand rounds of golf, Briar Bay is appreciated by both novice golfers and seasoned pros alike. The course offers competitive pricing on tee times, with additional benefits available through its Patron Card sold at the on-site golf shop.
