Pioneers Golf Course

Pioneers Golf Course, established on April 12th, 1930, is renowned as the oldest public golf course in Lincoln, Nebraska. Designed by William Tucker, originally featuring 27 holes, it now offers an 18-hole layout that has maintained its traditional charm with a unique feature—absence of sand bunkers. The course is situated on a gentle hill crowned by a picturesque clubhouse.

Pioneers Golf Course holds the distinction of leading in the number of rounds played in Lincoln for twelve consecutive years. It also offers an extensive driving range capable of accommodating up to 35 golfers simultaneously, with targets ranging from 75 to 275 yards and multiple ball bucket options priced between $3.50 and $12.50.

Expert management includes Timothy Rowland as PGA Head Golf Professional and Matt Noble as the Golf Course Superintendent (G.C.S.A.A.). The course operates from early morning to sunset, varying by season. It remains closed on major holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
