The Links of North Dakota is a golf course currently undergoing significant irrigation improvements, ensuring an enhanced playing experience for members and visitors alike. Scheduled updates include the installation of double main lines and setting GPS coordinates across selected holes. This effort aims to foster optimal maintenance and sustainability.
Phase 1 involves trenching activities around holes 5 through 8, as well as 14 through 18. Notably, this phase includes the development of a holding pond and main line loop for specific areas. Despite some delays due to weather conditions, the project is progressing efficiently with anticipated completion soon.
For members, The Links of North Dakota offers an exclusive early opening on May 23rd, punctuated by an educational walkthrough on May 22nd showcasing ongoing projects and future plans. A welcome back dinner concludes the event. Non-members can look forward to similar opportunities starting in the first week of June.
Additionally, golfers are reminded to respect marking flags indicating safe digging zones to ensure safety and smooth progress of ongoing works. Maintenance efforts extend beyond irrigation enhancements, with comprehensive fertilization and management of winterkill areas also underway.
