Bill & Payne Stewart Golf Course, established in 1947 and designed by renowned architect Perry Maxwell, is Springfield's oldest golf course. Named after esteemed local golfers Bill Stewart and his son Payne Stewart, the course spans 6,162 yards with a par of 70. Located conveniently in northeast Springfield near I-44 and Glenstone Avenue (Exit 80-B), the course maintains seasonally adjusted hours: March through September from 7:30 a.m. until dusk and October through February from 8:00 a.m. until dusk. Please note that the driving range closes early on Tuesdays.
