Old Fort Golf Club is a premier public golfing facility situated in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, adjacent to the historic Fortress Rosecrans and along the scenic Stones River. Established in 1985 and owned by the City of Murfreesboro, this 18-hole course offers a par 72 layout spanning 7,086 yards from the back tees, with six sets of tees ensuring an enjoyable experience for players of all skill levels. The club has earned acclaim as one of Tennessee's top public golf courses and frequently hosts significant championship events, including collegiate tournaments and USGA qualifiers.
Currently, Old Fort Golf Club is undergoing extensive renovations to improve its bunkers and greens. As a result, the main course will be closed until early September 2024, while the driving range is expected to reopen around July 1st. Despite these closures, the clubhouse and Bloomfield Links short course remain open for visitors. This renovation aims to enhance the overall golfing experience for future patrons significantly.
